A moderate ride from Sydenham circum-navigating the infamous Long Swamp where Barbara met her match, this route takes us mostly on quiet country roads in South Frontenac, over Jamieson Hill (the easy way) to Petworth then north on German Road. Turn right at the "T" if you dare onto Long Swamp Road for the shortcut to Bellrock, but we'll go left and around via Moscow and back to Verona. From there to Desert Lake for ice cream then back up the hill and south on Holleford Road past the crater onward back to Sydenham. For those wishing a longer ride, we'll ride up from Kingston to join the main group in Sydenham.

START: Loughborough Public School, Sydenham or Invista Centre Parking Lot, Kingston

TIME: 8:30 from Sydenham; 7:30 from Kingston

FINISH: 12:30 (Sydenham); 13:30 (Kingston)
