Following the general course of the Salmon River, this ride leaves Camden East and visits the villages of Croyden, Westplain, Forest Mills and the Town of Napanee. Roads are paved and some have shoulders suitable for biking. We will vist Forest Mills falls and the ruins of the Grain Mill shown above.
As the intent of this ride is to enjoy ourselves, soak up the scenery, and reunite with friends following a long winter, our speeds will be kept to the low side of the "C" range, probably averaging 20-22 kph over the duration of the ride.
Please bring a picnic lunch as we will stop midway for a roadside refreshments.
