This is a training ride at quick pace, 25-29km/h with drafting. An "A" group may go at a faster pace. Initial rides may start out at a slower pace.
The rides go through quiet country roads to West and North of Kingston.
Due to drafting, no e-bikes are permitted on this ride.
Rides may be cancelled up to 5pm on the day due to weather etc. Please check calendar before you set out to ride.
Routes will normally be chosen sequentially from the Thumping Thursday event routes:

Riders should be familiar with Ontario's Safe Cycling Guidelines
Ontario Safe Cycling
and bring the following items with them on the ride:
- a cell phone, preferable with the what3words" app installed
- a copy of the ride route (printed or downloaded to a device of their choice)
- a spare tube, pump and repair kit
- sufficient hydration and nutrition
- health card
- document showing address and emergency contact information
