About this event

This week we will ride from the Harrowsmith K&P Parking Lot towards Sydenham to either Hogan Lake (25km return) or McFadden Rd (30km return) depending on the heat and back. We will stop on the return for a coffee/ice cream in Sydenham. Hogan Lake is a spring fed lake only accessible via the trail and is a great swimming hole. Bring a swimsuit and towel if you would like to cool off.   We will depart at 0900hrs due to the expected heat.      A leisurely weekly ride of 20 to 30km (group consensus) with a coffee/ice cream break in the middle. This ride is ideal for those new to cycling or those getting back in the saddle after a few years away. All rides will be on either on the K&P or Cataraqui Trail. We will never ride on the road. Pace will be 10 to 15 km/hour and each week we will depart from a different trail parking lot. Junior participants are warmly welcomed and encouraged to ride along. See you then!
