Route Link
Wolfe Island has some great gravel rides on the Westward part of the Island. This 50 +/- ride will pass by the Golf Course, Button Bay, perhaps visit Hornes Ferry, and if there is interest we will also go to Big Sandy Bay, just to show you where the entrance is ( its a 15 minute walk into the Beach), and again if there is interest, visit Simcoe Island. Just a fun relaxing, and interesting bike ride. FINAL ROUTE WILL BE DECIDED ON FERRY!
Please have minimum 32 mm wide, (hybrid tires) on your bike. The roads were great 2 weeks ago but the recent rain can change things so ensure you have wider tires just in case.
Always good to have plenty of water with you and a peanut butter sandwich just in case. A stop at the Wolfe Island Pub and Pizzeria will complete our ride.
Start time: Be on the 9 am ferry, end time early to mid afternoon
.
There are shortcuts along the route if you become tired or wish to return to the ferry early.
